Part 1 | Raw Water Treatment Process - Dual Media Gravity Filter (DMGF)

Dual Media Gravity Filter

There are 3 steps of water treatment:

1. Production

2. Backwash

3. Rinsing

The water supplied by DAF system will be filtered on DMGF tank and the result of filtering process is clear water which is send to clear water tank for further process.
When the media filter have clogged than the flow of water will decreasing and the magnetic flow meter will triggering for backwash. 

Once the backwash command activated air compressor will start to blowing the water on underneath of nozzle. This air blowing will breaking out the sludge on filter media. After the media already resolved then the valve on production line will close and valve on backwash line will active to flowing the water for backwash sequence.

The water from backwash line will flowing and drive the waste/sludge to channel that goes to waste collection basin. This process continues until the filter media are clean and this is called rinsing process. After rinsing process is finished then the valve at outlet line that goes to waste collection basin will open and the water will flowing to the basin. 

The water inside of Clear Water Tank will continue to next process that called FSPF. Please keep following us for the next part.
